Large Nursery Bat House (for up to 1000 bats)

"The Large Nursery Bat House is made essentially the same as the Medium Nursery Bat House (pictured), but can handle about 1000 Little Brown Bats and has about eight partitions. Crafted from solid pine boards and plywood. The Large Nursery Bat House stands about 40"" tall, about 24"" wide, and about 10"" deep. The partitions allow the bats to move around during the day to adjust to temperature changes. These partitions can be removed, if needed, without taking down the bat house. All the Bat Houses are assembled with exterior screws, all exterior seams are calked, then the Bat House is painted dark gray with a special non-poisoning stain (very important!!!), then the exterior is sealed with a specially designed exterior sealer. Dark gray works well in much of the United States, but will be adjusted for your area. Normally bat houses in Canada are jet black while in Mexico they are white. It's all about heat since Bats are mammals. Weighs about 48lbs."
