"B5001- Purple Martin Bird House-unpainted: Are you looking for something very unique and to amaze your neighbors? Or maybe you want your kids to help you paint this beautiful Purple Martin House. This large house is hand crafted from recycled wood and assembled with brass hardware and glue for longevity. It stands over 3' height and consists of four separate structures screwed to a 4x4 post. The roof is made from custom cedar shingles and the platforms are mounted using dowels and glue for super strength. Included is a perching cap for the 4x4 post. This house is mounted atop two 4x4"" posts with the bottom one buried in the ground with concrete. For ease of cleaning the 4x4's are hinged in the middle using 2x4's and 1/2"" carriage bolts. All mounting materials are not included. Weighs 45.0lbs."
