A quality bird book is a must have for those at home or in the field. There are many books on the market, but it is best to stay away from books that say things like "Birds of Idaho" or "Birds from Colorado". Almost every place in the world had different birds throughout the year. Many birds migrate so the birds you see in the summer are most likely not all the same birds you see in the winter.
