B3501- Winter Bird Roost: A favorite for small birds to keep warm during those long, cold, winter nights. These roost's are made from aged barn wood (over 90 years old) that is up to 1" thick. Each roost is unique since each piece of wood used has different characteristics. Inside each roost are at least three perches for plenty of room for over 20 small birds. B6001, 6002, 6003- Bat Houses: All the bat houses are crafted from solid pine boards and exterior plywood. The large bat house (pictured) stands over 30" tall and 24" wide. There are several partitions inside to allow the bats to move around during the day to adjust to temperature changes. These partitions are easily removed without taking down the bat house by simply removing four screws. The medium bat house is similar to the large bat house but with less partitions and smaller in size. The small bat house has only one partition. All the houses are assembled with brass hardware, all exterior seams are calked, then the bat house is painted dark gray. Dark gray works well in the majority of the United States in full sun. |
