The Nursery Bat Houses have several partitions inside to allow the bats to move around during the day to regulate their body temperature. The Large Nursery has eight partitions (can handle about 1000 little brown bats) while the Medium Nursery has four partitions (can handle about 500 little brown bats). The Medium & Small Bat Houses (handling 300 and 150 little brown bats respectfully) have only one partition, suited for bachelors and non-nursing females. The partitions in the Nursery Bat Houses are easily removed without taking down the bat house if needed. All the bat houses are assembled with screws and all exterior seams are caulked with very high quality exterior caulk. All the bat houses have a landing pad on the bottom, which is one of the most important items a bat house should have.
