GET PROFESSIONAL HELP TO DESIGN YOUR BIRD SANCTUARY/ORGANIC ECO-SYSTEM

"Would you build an addition on your house or landscape your yard without getting expert advice and create a plan first? "

Many people have come to me over the years to help them design, build, install, and maintain there backyard bird environments.  All of this combined starts the process of creating a "Long Term Plan" and ending up with an "Organic Eco-System" to control rodents and insects organically.  Below are several questions and comments I get all the time:

  • I installed a birdhouse and nothing has used ever used it.
  • Does it matter what kind of birdseed I use?  Do the birds really care?
  • Where is the best place to install a birdhouse?
  • Do the birds care what direction the hole faces on my birdhouse?
  • I used to feed the birds, but all I got was a lot of mice coming in the house.
  • I put up a birdfeeder and the squirrels chewed it up.  Nothing is squirrel proof so I stopped feeding.
  • How do I stop the pigeons from eating at my feeders?
  • Where should I install a bat house and how high?
  • Do the birds really care about the hole size on a birdhouse or where I install it?
  • Can you help me with pigeons roosting at my business?
  • Is there a way to control mice using birds?
  • How do I attract birds that eat insects?

Can I solve all of these problems and much more?  You bet I can!

I could go on and on with design, product choice, installation, and birdseed questions.  The easiest way I know how to handle most of these questions is to ask a question in return which usually goes something like the one at the top of the page.  In most cases the answer is NO, though I have seen people do this and I am sure you have to. Below are a few projects that can easily be done with the right knowledge and a good plan from an expert.

For me putting up birdhouses, bat houses, birdfeeders, birdbaths, making feeders squirrel proof, using the right seed for the location of the feeder, attracting more wildlife to properties, stopping woodpeckers from drilling holes in houses & buildings, and proper maintenance of products is not near as hard as doing any of the projects pictured above.  If you designed, built, installed, and maintained as many Long Term Plans and Organic Eco-Systems as I have you would say the same thing.

So why would one want to create an Organic Eco-System?  The simple answer, besides enjoying all the colorful birds you will attract, is that most birds eat insects while others are meat eaters and will eat many pesky rodents around your house and property.  Bats eat between 500-2000 insects per hour, depending on the species.  Do I need to say any more about why you want bats?

I work with homeowners and businesses all over the world helping them to create safe organic eco-systems for birds and bats.  I can work with you to!  I can work with you over the phone, travel to where you live, or via email.
