Pat “The Bird Man ®” has spent the past thirty years developing bird and bat ecosystems and products—first as a hobby and then full-time since 2002. He and his wife Claudette run The Bird Man from Franktown, Colorado, thirty-five miles southeast of Denver.
Growing up in South Eastern Michigan, going to college in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and working in Southern California, Pat has always lived in small communities surrounded by wildlife…and birds.
“After twenty years at Hewlett-Packard, I left on my own terms to start a business called The Bird Man. That was back in 2002 and Claudette and I haven’t looked back. We’re so fortunate to be able to turn our passion into a thriving, international business.”
